Asta’s design language is defined by a harmonious blend of classic luxury,
contemporary restraint, and artful storytelling. Her spaces are thoughtfully
composed—layered with elegance, romantic sensibility, and curated artwork. Each
project reflects not only her client’s lifestyle but also her own deeply cultivated sense of
style, substance, and beauty.
Asta Galinyte is a New York–based interior designer whose refined aesthetic and multidisciplinary background bring a distinctive and sophisticated voice to the world of luxury residential design and its strategic management. With a foundation in
banking—spanning investment advisory, capital markets, and project management—Asta cultivated a deep expertise in strategic planning, client relationship development, and precise execution. These strengths now underpin her design practice, allowing her to deliver not only beautiful interiors but also a seamless and elevated client experience.
Her creative path began in Lithuania, where she studied fine arts intensively for four years, receiving classical training in pencil drawing, oil painting, sculpture, and composition. This early immersion in the arts laid a rich foundation that continues to
inform her design sensibility today. Her perspective was further broadened by time spent living in London and Boston, before settling in New York City, where she immersed herself in the cultural and design capital of the world.
Asta’s aesthetic is shaped by her extensive international travel, which has left an indelible mark on her work. Her time in Paris, Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Florence, Palm Beach, San Francisco, and Los Angeles deepened her appreciation for architectural history and refined craftsmanship. These global influences are ever-present in her interiors, which evoke a dialogue between old-world romance and modern sophistication.
She formalized her transition into the field of interior design through the Creative Interiors program at Pratt Institute, one of the leading design schools in the country. Since then, Asta has contributed to high-end residential projects in Boston and Manhattan, with work in prestigious neighborhoods such as the Upper East Side, Tribeca, and Battery Park. Her experience at Ryan Korban Studio, where she worked as an assisting designer and project manager, further refined her eye for detail and introduced her to some of the most respected names in luxury design. There, she collaborated on sourcing from elite vendors such as Eric Schmitt, Loro Piana, Jean Royère, Dedar, Ralph Pucci, and Poliform, among others.
